Neon Oasis (Cyberpunk)

My winner: Image 1 — "Cyber cherry blossom oasis" A field where Image 4 is the most atmospheric (genuinely beautiful, the wet-asphalt purple haze is textbook cyberpunk), Image 3 is the most fun (neon EDEN sign earns a smile), and Image 2 is too small/flat to compete in the rendering arms race — but Image 1 wins because it's the only image that took the oasis half of the brief seriously. The other three painted neon cities; oases are something else — they're the exception in a hostile environment, the green spot in the desert. Image 1 invents a singular icon: a cherry tree made of light, irrigating itself from its own circuitry, blooming alone on a digital plain. That's a neon oasis as a concept, not a setting. Image 4 is a beautiful neon city, but a city is the antithesis of an oasis — too much of everything. Image 1 has one tree, one pool, one idea, and it lands. The others are postcards from cyberpunk; Image 1 is the only image that earns the metaphor in the title.
