Where Cars Stop, Bikes Begin

My winner: Image 4 — "Go bike" Three of these basically photographed the slogan and called it a day; only Image 4 turned the slogan into a picture. Image 1 has the prettiest light, Image 2 has the most realism, Image 3 is the most diagrammatic — but Image 4 is the only one that uses composition to argue: cars frozen as wall, cyclists surging outward as movement. It looks like something you'd actually pin up at a bike co-op, not stock-photograph for a city pamphlet. The poster aesthetic earns its lettering instead of slapping lettering on a photo to compensate.
