Company logo "Place"
Round 545
Image 1 β "Logoβ1" : 3.40
A synthwave scene: a glassy map-pin holding a chat bubble floats over a neon grid, "PLACE" glowing pink below. The pin-plus-chat concept genuinely says "place to be together," but this is an illustration, not a logo β background-dependent, unscalable, and the mirrored reflection under the wordmark dissolves into garbled pseudo-letters.
Image 4 β "Place. Where you actually enjoy being" : 3.70
A flat teal house-outline with a location pin inside, "PLACE" in solid navy caps. Perfectly clean, instantly usable, spelling intact β and instantly forgettable: the house-plus-pin formula belongs to a thousand rental and real-estate brands, which pulls against a playful apps platform.
Image 2 β "Logo β2" : 3.95
A gold monogram P with a compass rose woven into its bowl, over thin letterspaced serif "PLACE" on charcoal. The most refined craft of the round β crisp linework, elegant restraint, and the compass quietly means navigation and belonging. Reads luxury hotel more than apps-and-games, but as pure identity design it's excellent.
Image 3 β "A portal shaped P" : 4.05
A gradient P whose counter opens into a glowing doorway β a portal β above a clean modern wordmark. This is the one that works as a real brand: app-icon ready, scalable, correctly spelled, contemporary without being generic, and the open-door idea captures exactly what Place promises β step in, it's better here. The concept, execution and product fit align; only a slightly soft gradient edge keeps it from higher. My winner.
