Banners are short lines of text with a link, shown at the top of the site's game pages and on Ownership boards. They are paid in credits, the site's own points, which are never bought with money. Three ways to get one.

What makes it different
• Own it: buy a banner in the shop. It is yours, listed under ASSETS on your profile. Write its text and link, pick Default or ★ Gold, change it any time.
• Resell it: a banner is property, not a rental. Set a price and list it for sale to other members; update the price or take it off any time.
• Rent a game spot: 1 credit for 24 hours, 2 for 3 days, 3 for 7 days. A rented spot shows before the owner's banner; when none is rented, the owner's shows.
• Bid for a spot: some spots go by auction. Outbid, your credits come back. The winner writes the text and it runs in its turn.

Who can do what
• Owner: write text and link, pick the look, sell, take off sale.
• Any member: rent a game spot, bid in auctions.
• Signed out: see banners and auctions; sign in to buy or bid.
• Staff: review banner texts.

Account and second person
• Account: yes, to buy, rent or bid. A sale needs a buyer.

Cost
• Credits only, never money.
• With a full paid Multipass your own banner goes live at once; without, it waits for staff review.

Honest limits
• 50 characters on your own banner, 42 on a rented game spot, 50 for a link.
• Text is screened; a refused banner does not show.
