Will my data leak?
LastPass sells secrecy for a living and had its customer vaults stolen in 2022. If they can lose it, "we take security seriously" from anyone else is noise until it's written down with names and dates.

Who picks up when it breaks?
Try reaching a human at Google or Meta with a paid account. Now do it at 2 am with payroll stuck. A support address that lands with a person is worth more than a status page and a chatbot.

Can trust be outsourced?
Trust is not "I will be here." Trust is "it works without me.".
