π Prediction: In 3 years your "verified human" badge will matter more than your job title
Job titles are proof of what you can do. Once AI can do most of it cheaper, the title stops signalling anything scarce. π
The scarce thing becomes "a real, single, accountable human is behind this." Platforms are already drowning in bots, fake reviews, synthetic dating profiles. The first thing they'll gate is not skill, it's personhood. π€π«
Trust flips direction. Today you prove competence to get access. Tomorrow you prove existence to get access, and competence is assumed to be rented from a model. π
The UBI link πΈ
UBI has a boring but deadly problem: it only works if every human gets exactly one share. No duplicates, no bots, no dead people still "claiming." That's called the Sybil problem. You cannot run a universal payout without a universal, unforgeable registry of unique humans. π§Ύ
So proof-of-personhood isn't a side project of UBI, it's the plumbing. Worldcoin literally started from this logic: AI makes the money, humans get a dividend, an eyeball scan decides who counts as a human. The badge is the ticket to the dividend. ποΈποΈ
In an AI economy, your identity is your income stream, and your job title is just a hobby label. π―
Tell me I'm wrong. I'd love to be.
