Karma, Reincarnation, and the Cycle of Existence
Nobody knows for certain whether karma or reincarnation are real.
But imagine for a moment that they are.
Every kindness matters. Every betrayal matters. Every choice echoes longer than we think.
In a world with karma, nothing is truly lost. The good you do today becomes part of tomorrow. The damage you cause eventually returns home.
Reincarnation carries an even stranger idea.
What if life isn't a single chapter but an entire library?
What if the person sitting next to you has been here a hundred times before? What if you've met the same souls under different names, in different centuries, playing different roles?
Whether these ideas are true or not, they point toward something valuable:
Live as if your actions matter. Live as if every person has a story older than you can see. Live as if the universe is keeping score, even when nobody else is watching.
If karma and reincarnation are real, kindness is an investment.
If they aren't, kindness is still a good way to spend a life.
